Who we are
I founded Victoria Maxfield Consulting in 2015 with a clear mission: to place people at the heart of business change. I have been working in change management in some form for over 20 years. I have learnt from my experience in internal change roles, as a consultant, and from being on the receiving end of change. I noticed that people’s views were often sidelined, either through a fear of interacting with resistance or just people not knowing how to make time to manage people’s reactions in fast moving projects.​

In 2019, I went back to university to study Occupational Psychology to deepen my understanding of how best to support people. I am passionate about inclusive design, allowing my clients to make the best of all their people, while supporting wellbeing. I partner with other expert change practitioners who share my strong values to deliver for my clients.
We understand that successful transformation isn’t just about processes and technology - it’s about people. Whether it’s cultural change, leadership development, process re-engineering, or implementation of large IT transformation, we partner with clients to navigate change effectively, ensuring successful delivery with happy people!

Evidence based: we believe that all our interventions should be based on a balance of evidence. This means internal organisational data, stakeholder views, independent research, and our own experience.
Building confidence not dependency: we ensure skills transfer in all our engagement to foster independence rather than dependency. Our goal is to equip clients with the capability to sustain their positive change journey long after our engagement ends.
Ethics and integrity: we take our ethical responsibility very seriously. We will never agree to work that is not the right things to do or will not provide value for money. This might mean holding a mirror up to our clients so they can see the reality of their situation.
